General Description:

The School Psychologist is directly responsible for the psychological assessment of academic, social, emotional, and behavioral domains utilizing problem-solving and standardized evaluations. The School Psychologist monitors the completion of case study evaluations and participates in Individual Education Plan (IEP) conferences and problem-solving meetings designing systems, programs and services that maximize students’ social, emotional, and educational success. In collaboration with staff, families, students, and communities, the school psychologist promotes effective and positive educational environments.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS

We currently hiring Substitute Teachers for all levels: preschool, elementary, middle, and high school. 

 In order to substitute for Xenia Community Schools, you must: 

  1. COMPLETE THE ONLINE EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION - through the Dayton Area School Employment Consortium if you have not already done so.
  2. HOLD or OBTAIN a State of Professional/Resident Educator or Substitute License.  (Bachelors degree or higher)
  3. CALL OUR HUMAN RESOURCES  -  Please call the Human Resources Assistant at 937-562-9002 or 937-562-9037 to make an appointment to complete the remaining paperwork (SubForm, Tax Forms, Direct Deposit, STRS, FORM, I-9) and to be fingerprinted for both BCII and FBI. The cost of fingerprinting is $52.00. We accept Cash or Credit Card payments. If you have been fingerprinted by another school district in the past 12 months we will accept a copy of those results. 
  4. YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING AT THE TIME OF YOUR APPOINTMENT:
    1. DRIVER'S LICENSE
    2. SOCIAL SECURITY CARD  
    3. TRANSCRIPTS SHOWING GRADES AND DEGREES(Front and back copies signed off by a registrar.) 
    4. VOIDED CHECK OR BANK DIRECT DEPOSIT FORM

  3. ABM Custodians FT Day and Evening Shifts

ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Cleaner.

The Cleaner provides the cleaning and upkeep of all assigned areas including the following task: clean restrooms, replenish restrooms, empty trash, empty recycle bins, clean desks where applicable, clean tables in conference rooms, vacuum offices and common areas, clean interior glass, clean drinking fountains, dust partitions, cabinets and vents, mop floors, clean elevators/shine stainless steel. Operate chemical dispensing units. Properly measure chemicals that are not provided in dispenser form.
