On Wednesday, February 4, the Xenia High School Chemistry Club made their second trip of the year to visit elementary students at Arrowood and Cox.

As always, the day was split into two impactful, high-energy phases:

• Hands-on Learning: Chem Club juniors led classrooms through interactive activities, ranging from building density bottles to creating custom slime.
• The Big Show: Seniors performed a Toy Story-themed skit, weaving explosive and exciting experiments into a narrative the younger kids loved.

This interactive day of science is designed to let older students mentor their younger counterparts in the field of chemistry, fostering a love for STEM and proving once again that curiosity is contagious — and the best way to learn science is to do it!
