The Biomedical Science students in Dr. Rutan’s class and the Anatomy and Physiology students in Mrs. Gagliano’s class at Xenia High School participated in a joint field trip to Kettering College.

During the trip, students toured Kettering College’s state-of-the-art cadaver laboratory, where they were able to observe and interact with real human specimens, deepening their understanding of anatomy and the human body. At the medical simulation lab, students practiced taking vital signs and performing patient assessments on advanced medical manikins used for clinical training.

In addition to the hands-on lab experiences, students enjoyed a comprehensive campus tour, which included stops at classrooms, residence halls, the library, and student common areas. The visit offered valuable insight into college life and the wide range of programs available in healthcare and medical sciences.
