To celebrate the completion of construction at Doug Adams Stadium, a brief dedication ceremony was held on the field prior to kickoff of the first home football game of the season.

Following a proclamation from the Governor DeWine's office commemorating the event, a ceremonial ribbon-cutting took place on the 50 yard line.
