On Saturday, January 24, members of the Xenia High School Symphonic and Concert Bands represented our school with pride at the OMEA Solo and Ensemble Competition at Vandalia Butler High School.

These students stepped up to perform either as soloists or in small group ensembles, choosing challenging pieces from the official state music list. What makes this truly impressive is that most of these students prepared their music independently — with some guidance and support from their directors, of course! By taking on this challenge, these students are becoming better musicians and demonstrating their dedication to mastering their craft.
