About the Foundation

The Xenia Community Schools (XCS) Foundation was organized in 1985 as a nonprofit organization to support programs which assist and encourage achievement of the highest standards for all the young people of the Xenia school area. The Foundation is governed by a board that consists presently of representatives from the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce, the Xenia Education Association, and the Xenia Community Schools Board of Education.

The goals of the Board include: becoming the major charitable fund for those interested in improving the quality of education; building an additional non-tax base of support for the Xenia Community Schools; supplementing the educational needs of the district by bringing new resources for enrichment to the classroom, and much more. As state funding continues to fluctuate, local financial support becomes even more critical.

Contributions can be made by an individual or through a corporate gift. Contributors will become members of the Xenia Community Schools Foundation. For more information on pledging, contact the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce at 937-372-3591 or visit the Foundation online.
